Biography
Fabrice Estiévenart got his master in Computer Science at the University of Namur (Belgium) after his thesis study on XML databases engineering. He is currently a senior R&D engineer within the SST department (Intelligent Content & Semantics team). Past years, he has worked in the field of web data extraction towards XML-based representations such as XML Schema or RDF. His current work focuses on knowledge and semantic extraction from unstructured data sources. He has a strong knowledge of Web-based technologies and has worked on several real-world applications such as search engines or tools for web intelligence. Fabrice is involved in the EU Ponte Project which uses semantic-related technologies to provide an intelligent system for automatic identification of individuals eligible to participate in clinical trials.
